Dr. Chein-Wei Jen is a professor in Department
of Electronics Engineering at National
Chiao-Tung University.
Dr. Chein-Wei Jen received the B.S. degree from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1970, the M.S. degree from Stanford University, Stanford, CA in 1977, and the Ph. D. degree from National Chiao Tung University in 1983.
He has been with the Department of Electronics Engineering, National Chiao Tung University, as a professor since 1989. He served as the Chairman of the Department of Electronics Engineering, National Chiao Tung University from 1989 to 1991 and the Director of the Institude of Electronics at the same University from 1991 to 1994.
His research interests include System-on-Chip design, VLSI system architecture, multimedia signal processing, algorithm and architecture, and design automation. He has held seven patents and published over 50 journal papers and 100 conference papers in these areas. Currently, he serves as the Associative Editor in IEEE Tr. Circuits And Systems, Part I and Journal of VLSI Signal Processing Systems.
